Sobering message from Macomb Sheriff officials in lip-sync video

Macomb County Sheriff’s officials are spreading a sobering message in their lip-sync challenge video.

The 6 minute, 38 second video includes actual depictions of deputies rescuing overdosing drug addicts with nasal-spay injections of Narcan, an opioid antidote. It also re-enacts deputies responding to overdose calls from dispatchers, and people posing as addicts and loved ones.

The video also promotes Fraser-based Families Against Narcotics and its program Hope Not Handcuffs.
