Our Story

 

 

RequestFOIA, Inc. was born from our desire to pursue the ability to enable government agencies to provide workflow applications that streamline transparency for their constituents in the process of obtaining government records. The founder of RequestFOIA, Inc., has worked in GovTech for the past 20 years and realized the need for a public records application in 2015. He bootstrapped his way to provide an application in his home state for the many municipalities that would benefit from such a software application.

After being successful regionally with his first company, he decided to branch out with a founding team to provide a nationally next-generation and superior public records application, and RequestFOIA was born.

We’re very proud of the amazing cloud-based SaaS application that streamlines public requests and has received many accolades as we continue to develop and grow our footprint across North America. RequestFOIA, Inc. also continues to build a portfolio of complementary applications that will fulfill our greatest desire, and that is to achieve a social impact in communities that represent the underrepresented. We take pride in being a minority-owned and operated corporation that gives back both socially and economically to many communities and community-based organizations.
